Kiyohara Kaya, born in Osaka, is a Japanese fashion model, actress, and singer. As an actress, she is represented by Amuse, and as a singer, she is signed to "Colorful Records". She is currently an exclusive model for the fashion magazine "Seventeen".

From the fifth grade of elementary school, she attended the "Youth Theater Japan" theater company based in Hyogo, where she learned dancing, singing, musical acting, and ballet. In 2014, when she was 12, she applied for Amuse's "Amuse Audition Festival 2014", which her mother helped her apply for. That same year, she won the Grand Prix award from among 32,214 people. She started her entertainment activities in 2015. She attracted attention through her commercials that same year. From April, she became the exclusive model for the fashion magazine "nicola", and made her first solo cover for the magazine in 2018. In March 2018, she graduated from being the magazine's exclusive model. Since the release of its September issues on August 1, 2018, she's been the exclusive model for "Seventeen".

As an actress, she made a debut as an actress in 2015 through the series"Asa ga Kita". In 2016, she got her first starring role through "Death Cash". In July 2018, she starred in her first NHK series with "Toumei na Yurikago", where her performance in the drama was highly evaluated. The drama won the Grand Prize in the TV drama category at the 73rd Japan Arts Festival Awards in 2018. She won three awards; the new face award through "Confidence Drama Annual Awards" and the annual grand prize newcomer award in 2018 and the "best actress award" at the Tokyo Drama awards in 2019.

She moved to Tokyo from Osaka to begin full-scale entertainment activities. As a singer, she sang the theme "Kimagure Kumo" for the film "Day and Night", which was written, composed, and produced by RADWIMPS' Noda. She was in charge of the hummed theme song "Nana's Lullaby" for "Hotarugusa". In September 2020, she made her CD debut through Victor Entertainment.
